
UTME Registration Date
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that registration for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will commence on February 3, 2025. This update comes after an initial postponement to allow the board to implement essential adjustments to its registration templates.

Mock-UTME Date
Candidates are to note that they would be required to pay the sum of ₦1,500 service charge for CBT centers for the conduct of the optional mock examination.

UTME Exam Date
JAMB advises all candidates who desire to register for the 2025 UTME to immediately proceed to create their JAMB profile on the JAMB Portal (generation of profile code) ahead of the official commencement of the registration exercise to avoid being caught up in any ensuing bottleneck.

Important information
JAMB will not be conducting admissions for the the Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) programme in eight universities for the 2025/2026 academic session.
JAMB said the decision followed the suspension of the law programmes in the institutions by the Council of Legal Education (CLE), the highest decision making body for legal education in Nigeria.
Affected institutions:
The suspension of the law programme at the Nigerian Police Academy, Wudil, Kano State is stated to last for two academic sessions, specifically, the 2025/2026 and 2026/2027 sessions.
