This is to inform the general public that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the commencement of 2023 registration for UTME and Direct Entry candidates.
The form is available to candidates that wish to sit for the 2023 UTME in Nigeria and Foreign countries.

Foreign Centres: $20
The board has resolved to make henceforth the UTME and DE Registration process cashless to put a stop to acts of extortion.
As already effected for UTME and DE exercise, the board would be collecting the approved ₦700 registration fee, ₦1000 CBT (examination) fee and ₦1000 mock UTME service charge on behalf of the various computer-based test (CBT) centres along with its UTME Registration Fees and then remit weekly whatever is due to each registration centre. ( i.e. there will be 2 pins available: ₦6,700 – UTME application document with mock or ₦5,700 without mock UTME) as shown above.
Note:
Candidates should not apply for UTME and DE at the same time. If any candidate applies through UTME and later obtain DE qualification, the UTME can be upgraded to DE at no cost.
On the other hand it is a sanctionable offence to obtain two application documents in the same year. Double/multiple registrations attract outright cancellation and prosecution.
UTME Registration Date
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that it would commence registration for the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) from Saturday, 14th January, to Tuesday, 14th February 2023.
The Board, at its Management meeting held on the 20th of December 2022, made the announcement when it rolled out some major dates for its activities in 2023.

Direct Entry Registration Date
The Direct Entry (DE) registration will commence from Monday, 20th February to Thursday, 20th April 2022.

Mock-UTME Date
The Board also fixed Thursday, 16th March 2023, for the conduct of its optional mock UTME.
Candidates are to note that they would be required to pay the sum of N1,000 service charge for CBT centers for the conduct of the mock examination at the point of registration to prevent a situation where they would indicate interest to sit the mock-UTME leading the various centres to commit human and material resources only for them to be abscent on the day of the examination.

Finally, the Board, has fixed Saturday, 29th April, 2023, for the conduct of the 2023 UTME, which is expected to end on Monday, 12th May 2023.
JAMB advises all candidates who desire to register for the 2023 UTME to immediately proceed to create their JAMB profile on the JAMB Portal (generation of profile code) ahead of the official commencement of the registration exercise to avoid being caught up in any ensuing bottleneck.
